IN CONVERSATION WITH LEROY LOGAN AT GREENBELT FESTIVAL 28 AUGUST 2022

Leroy Logan MBE, anti-racist campaigner, former Met superintendent, and a founding member of the Black Police Association, has been appointed as Chair of Transition to Adulthood (T2A).

A candid conversation with Leroy Logan, founding member of the Black Police Association, “who risked everything to fight racism in the police force – from within" (Guardian) at the Pagoda Stage at 1pm on Sunday 28 August at Greenbelt Festival.

Greenbelt Festival is a festival of arts, faith and justice held annually in England since 1974. Engaged with culture, inspired by the arts, sustained by faith, they aspire to be an open generous community re-imagining the Christian narrative for the present moment. Their mission is to create spaces, like festivals, where art, faith and justice collide. Where artistry and activism, spirituality and politics, faith and justice are held together.

Dr Leroy Logan MBE is one of the UK's most highly decorated and well known black police officers and a highly respected commentator on policing. His story, underpinned by a strong Christian faith, became a film in Steve McQueen’s Small Axe series.

Leroy will be in conversation with Ben Lindsay, CEO of Power the Fight
