Leading Change Through Adversity at Inspiring Leadership Conference 2026

On Friday 5 June, Dr Leroy Logan MBE delivered a keynote address at the Inspiring Leadership Conference 2026, the UK's longest-running leadership conference for education professionals. Speaking to an audience of around 1,000 headteachers, multi-academy trust CEOs and senior education leaders at Birmingham's International Convention Centre, Leroy presented Leading Change in the Face of Adversity, sharing his experiences of leading cultural change, overcoming systemic barriers and building trust through values-driven leadership.
Delivered as a story-led keynote, followed by an interactive audience Q&A, Leroy explored the importance of resilience, integrity and authentic leadership when navigating complex and often challenging environments. Drawing on his experiences in policing and public service, he demonstrated how leading with purpose can inspire positive change across any sector.

As one of the conference's featured keynote speakers, alongside diversity advocate Francesca Martinez, Leroy's address reinforced the value of inclusive leadership and creating environments where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. The conference's focus on transferable leadership lessons provided delegates with practical insights they could take back to their own schools, trusts and organisations.

Following his keynote, Leroy met delegates during a book signing hosted by Crown House Publishing, continuing conversations about leadership, representation and creating lasting change. Bringing together leading voices from education, business and elite sport over two days, the conference once again provided an inspiring platform for leaders to share ideas, challenge perspectives and drive positive change in their communities.
